Cardinal Systems entrusted Tuxdi with enhancing two of its strategic products: Humanage and EDR. Humanage is a human resources platform used by thousands of users in different countries. EDR is a key tool for document management in highly sensitive sectors such as healthcare and notary services. Both products needed a thorough technological, visual, and structural overhaul to keep pace with the company's growth and improve the user experience.

What was

the challenge?

The challenge was to redesign and scale two critical platforms for document and human resources management, migrating to modern technologies without interrupting the operation of existing systems. At Humanage, an HR platform, we incorporated new features and took on the complete development of the mobile application, improving the user experience for more than 10,000 people in different countries. At EDR, a key tool for document management in sectors such as healthcare and notary services, we reimplemented the platform from scratch, focusing on performance, usability, and a modern interface, allowing institutions such as hospitals and notary associations to manage sensitive documentation efficiently.

Designing clear experiences for complex systems

We redesigned the information architecture and navigation flows, prioritizing clarity, speed of use, and reduced friction. The goal was to transform technical platforms into intuitive tools, where each user could operate efficiently without the need for complex training. We worked on visual hierarchies, process simplification, early validation of flows, and design focused on real everyday tasks, both in administrative and institutional contexts.

Consistency, scalability, and visual control

We built a unified design system for both products, enabling visual consistency, component reuse, and future scalability. We defined components, typography, colors, hierarchies, states, layouts, and interaction patterns. This system accelerated development, maintained consistency between web and mobile platforms, and facilitated the continuous evolution of the products.

We completely modernized the frontend architecture using modern and scalable technologies. We implemented new development bases that allow for greater performance, better code maintenance, and continuous product evolution. At Humanage, we developed the entire mobile app. At EDR, we reimplemented the platform from scratch.
